PowerBall Probability help ..quick?
I keep seeing the lottery or someone else say like a newspaper say, "if you would have played power play you would have won $1 million dollars or whatever the number is for less than 5 numbers. I disagree. The time it takes for the clerk to press another button for power play you will lose that random pick of your numbers by 1 second or two then you would never have gotten those lucky numbers to begin with. How many people who won and have heard that "if" word so many times your sick of it? (I haven't won the 5 out of 6 but if I did this would annoy me anyone else? )

To win the whole jackpot, all these numbers must match. what is the probability of winning the powerball jackpot?? if only the 5 white balls match the numbers you picked, you win 200,000. what is the probability of winning this'?? how can i write these in equations using counting rules. please help its so confusing to me!
